At this point this is seems to be the only realistic option for him to stop meddling with everything.

With Bitcoin over $100,000, even pension funds are buying cryptocurrency

Yikes. What could possibly go wrong?

Biden administration puts quotas on global AI chip sales

NVDA and others are going to lobby hard against it and I expect big tech to have a big say in every major policy in the new administration. Trump is going to be spin it as hampering American innovation & excellence, and will replace it with a drastically scaled back version if not outright...

Realistically, this is going to be undone by Trump within a month.

Meta kills diversity programs, claiming DEI has become “too charged”

I imagine FB and Instagrm are easy to ditch for most; but not WhatsApp. I wish there was an easy way to get the millions of WhatsApp users to swtich to an alternaitve.

Amazon’s first color Kindle e-reader, the Kindle Colorsoft, will run you $280

It would've been cool if Amazon found a way to cram physical buttons on the Paperwhite / Colorsoft form factor - maybe like small buttons on either side of the screen. The Oasis physical buttons is underrated but the form factor can get a bit unwieldy (for one handed use) if you end up reading...

Amazon can’t hoover up Roomba after EU nixes $1.4B iRobot acquisition

Roborock vacuums are far better than Roomba. No idea how iRobot managed to make it this far to be honest.

Reddit blocks opting out of personalized ads, starts paying users

Problem is, the alternatives don't have a lot of users. Unless Reddit breaks it's core functionality of being a message board/forum, I don't see a massive migration of users to alternatives. Most people - including me - are more likely to put up with these incremental changes that don't break...

Microsoft puts the Surface Duo 1 out of its misery, ends support

When it comes to mobile, Microsoft seems to have a lot of innovative ideas but fumbles the execution without fail.

Fed up with Reddit, mods of popular AMAs quit organizing high-profile interviews

After everyone cashes out at IPO, they really don't give a shit what happens to the brand. The API changes is to inflate add revenue (by pushing people to the official app) in a bid to increase valuation for the IPO.

Twitter CEO starts fighting Musk’s battles, paying Musk’s overdue bills

I think they're starting to get worried about Facebook Threads. Between FB and Twitter, brands likely trust FB more. So, probably trying to sort everything out before Threads launches.

With Tesla profits down, Musk dangles Cybertruck, FSD this year

I think Cybertruck is going to be Tesla's first flop.

You may have just created a new meme.

SCOTUS preserves access to abortion pill—for 5 days

I can see where this is going. Get an insane ruling from some hick in TX > get it appealed to the SC > settle for a ruling that's less insane, making it seem like a win for women's rights but ultimately regressing from what we had before.

Elon Musk reportedly purchases thousands of GPUs for generative AI project at Twitter

Ah yes, an AI built using Tweets as the dataset. What could go wrong? Probably be banned within a week in a few European countries.

NPR quits Twitter, says Musk-led platform is “undermining our credibility”

I have a feeling this is exactly what Musk wants. Twitter is going to be a right wing extremist echo chamber in time for the 2024 election.

Musk admits NPR isn’t state-affiliated after asking questions he could have Googled

Twitter is going to become Parler 2.0 by end of the year. I'm wondering if that's been his end goal all along.
