Vaginal condition treatment update: Men should get treated, too

I'm concerned about the users who downvoted your comment. Folks, its basic hygiene!!

Here’s the real reason Endurance sank

I love that Ars has an interest in the Endurance and regularly publishes articles about the expedition. For people in the Detroit area, I highly recommend visiting the Detroit Zoo to learn more. While it might seem out of place, their relatively new (within the past 10 years) penguin house has...

Lawsuit: DOGE, HHS used “hopelessly error-ridden” data to fire 10,000 workers

The American people, in economic, monetary, and cultural terms, will be paying for this administration's misdoings for decades to come.

Apple is turning The Oregon Trail into a movie

You're really in for a treat, I think that was the best season of Miracle Workers, with an incredible musical scene starring Daniel Radcliffe (you'll know the one when you see it).

Dell’s new Concept UFO puts PC gaming on a Nintendo Switch-like device

For all the dual-screen devices and concepts that have come out in the past year, not a single one has given a solid answer as to why a dual-screen device is better than current single-screen slate-like devices. To me, dual-screen devices are a classic tech concept solution in search of a problem.

NHTSA will look at allowing mirrorless side camera systems on new cars

Just had the driver-side mirror replaced on my Jeep Renegade. It's a powered mirror (is that industry standard nowadays?), with an indicator lamp on the front-facing side. Parts and labor, came out around $350 USD. Inevitably, these rearview cameras and screens will be even more expensive.

AC/DC: It’s Tesla duking it out with Edison in The Current War trailer

The trailer looks good and I'm definitely interested in the movie but man I let out a big groan at the line "Nothing will be named Tesla ever again!" I don't mind a wink and a nod like that in a movie, but throwing that in the trailer seems unnecessary.

The Dodge RAM 1500 Laramie Crew Cab fuses “luxury” and “pick-up truck”

I think about this frequently while driving. On the road, especially around where I live in Metro Detroit, pickup trucks that are truly used for hard labor are worked into the ground (and then frequently resurrected) for as long as possible. Towing capacity and bed capacity are king, passenger...

Report: Microsoft is going to try to make a cheap Surface tablet... again

Anyone want to bet how many months after release that Microsoft will kill this tablet? On paper it sounds great - $400USD touchscreen tablet that can run less-intensive full desktop Windows apps. But how many times has Microsoft bungled new hardware like this?

    RIP Kinect: 2010-2017(ish)

I think where Microsoft really screwed up Kinect was with regards to Cortana and smart speaker/assistant integration. Literally years before Amazon Echo and Alexa ruled the landscape and defined a market, Microsoft had a computer (Xbox One) with a powerful microphone array (Kinect) in people's...

Amazon Prime Video begins rolling out to the tvOS app store

Amazon has a Netflix-like library of videos available for Prime members only, in addition to their purchase/rental library. Basically one can see an entire series available from Amazon for purchase or rental (no Prime membership req'd), but only a subset or select seasons of that series is...

GameStop expects the Switch to be hard to find through 2017

Exactly. Like all things in life, it's about knowing exactly when to take advantage of a deal, and when to walk away.
