    2016 Elections, Part One

Just the opposite. Bernie's plan expects the states to chip in half the cash, and to be the ones to actually work out all of the details.

    2016 Elections, Part One

Exactly. The set of primary voters are substantially different than the general election voting population. The super delegates are to give the party a level to stop the more extreme primary voters from nominating an extremist (if I remember right, the super delegate system was created after...

    2016 Elections, Part One

Exactly. Already the election system has enough issues with rational non-parcipation and rational ignorance, and with the problem that extremists have higher levels of participation than moderates. We don't need a election system that makes those issues worse.

And then there is this (from a Clinton supporter). Some of the Sanders delegates weren't actually eligible to be delegates. And info was improperly shared with the Sanders campaign. https://www.reddit.com/r/hillaryclinton ... las_vegas/

    2016 Elections, Part One

Its unclear . Based on this discussion https://np.reddit.com/r/SandersForPresi ... ns_nevada/ some of the delegates picked at the caucus that claimed to represent Hillary may have switched to Bernie. At the caucus, you are selecting the delegate, not the candidate, and the delegate does not...

    2016 Elections, Part One

The "very loud" part, the reference to a sexist stereotype. Particularly with all the "shrill" and "loud" complaints directed at Clinton this election.

    2016 Elections, Part One

Looks like Bernie just shot himself in the foot. Via ABC News reporter Mary Parks https://twitter.com/maryaliceparks/stat ... 2693627904 Trump is probably sad he didn't think of that one first.

Google’s April Fool Gmail prank backfires in spectacular style

It moved the thread to the archive after the email was sent-- with replies allowed. If a reply came, the thread was moved back to the inbox. Mic drop moved the thread, routed replies to /dev/null, and sent a .gif to "get the last word out" on the thread.

Google’s April Fool Gmail prank backfires in spectacular style

You must of missed the part where "send & archive" was turned into mic drop. Users who wanted to send and archive accidentally mic dropped.

Google’s April Fool Gmail prank backfires in spectacular style

Hmm... posts insulting the people who clicked on the dropped mic button, political posts, garbage about "whiney" people, people bring unrelated incendiary issues into the thread. Where did all the assholes come from?

I'm sure there are cases where internet idiots raged about such things -- but its stupid either way.

    2016 Elections, Part One

But the claim from the Sanders side that it hurt their campaign is junk. The worst lines happened in precincts that leaned Clinton. And as his strength in cacus states shows, Sanders has more of the truly dedicated supporters who are willing to take hours out of their day to vote.
