I’m an Xbox gamer and this is no surprise and welcome news. I haven’t purchased physical game media in years. For the games I do have media for, having to always have the disk in the blue ray drive in order to play is an unnecessary hassle.

I'm new to the iPhone world, coming from a Windows Phone, 950XL. Other than the performance improvements, most of the new stuff in iOS 12 is not that interesting.

From a developer perspective there is just one store you upload to. If your app spans Windows 8 thru 10 you upload your appx packages to the same logical place. On the user side is where apps are filtered out according to Windows version and hardware platform.

I'm still rock'n my Surface 2 for watching movies. Light, portable and great battery life. Security updates are good until 2023.
