Curiosity's first chem test: Sands of Mars taste a lot like volcano

Timmer wrote 'high-energy photons bounce off...' Is the phrase 'high-energy photons' redundant? Seems like anything that moves at the speed of light should have infinite energy (if my understanding of Einstein is correct).

Forza Motorsport 4 review: The king is dead, long live the king!

You might be referring to their games division, I was referring to Microsoft as a whole. If I was being sarcastic I would have typed Micro$oft or called them douchebags or any number of derogatory names. I'll believe what I want to believe, just like you. Here's a link about the stellar...

Forza Motorsport 4 review: The king is dead, long live the king!

If Microsoft has the exclusive console rights to Ferrari then why are those cars in GT5? It's not like Microsoft to play nicely with others.

Forza Motorsport 4 review: The king is dead, long live the king!

That's not really true. Have you not raced La Sarthe? That's a particularly bumpy circuit, especially once you get out on the country roads. You could also look into the first turn of the Nurburg GT track, taking that at the wrong speed and/or angle will throw your car a half-dozen different ways.

Spain arrests 3 Anons for Sony, bank hacks; AnonOps vows revenge

I wasn't the one who broached the subject of a SpecOps response to hacking, merely giving my opinion on the statement. US policy seems to be moving toward equating hacking with firing digital bullets. I think that the US government would broadly apply such a policy, which would get around your...

Spain arrests 3 Anons for Sony, bank hacks; AnonOps vows revenge

I'd bet that the SEAL teams (and other SpecOps units across the world) would better Anonymous on both the conventional and digital warfare fronts. As for the topic of this article, why does AnonOps have their panties all in a bunch? They have to realize that what they do is considered illegal...

With PSN store down, Dirt 3 owners locked out of multiplayer

Since the PS Store has been down for a month or so, how is it a surprise that you can't redeem an online pass? Moreover, why is this news? Can we now expect every game that needs access to the PS Store to get a headline?

With PSN store down, Dirt 3 owners locked out of multiplayer

I thought this after paying full-price for Resistance 2. It bothers me to pay full-price for a game only to see the single-player experience get lobotomized in favor of the multiplayer.

Ghost Recon goes free-to-play, fails to make case for itself

I wasn't that impressed with whatever Ghost Recon game I bought for my PS3, I can't imagine what a 'free' version is like...

PSN update: Sony isn't sure your credit card data is safe

I'm okay with Sony taking their time with this network fix. I was kinda bummed this weekend as I was going to get some FIFA in with a buddy, but as others have posted, no network is better than a broken network. If, at the end of this, I'm able to get some decent d/l speeds out then I'll...
