Fallout games continue seeing big player jumps after the TV series’ success

I’m doing the same. My playthrough was in the 360 days and I never bought the DLC so doing that now. 4.99 for the GOTY edition was a no-brainer.

Feds expand investigation into Honda’s automatic emergency braking system

My wife’s CRV freaks out (screen says BRAKE, and warning beeps occur) every time she passes a metal guardrail on a curve in the road our house is on.

More legal acrimony for Truth Social, as executive says he was hacked

While maybe not as cool as the Graham Cycle, I’m kinda fond of the Lindsay Loop. Who knows, it, too, may be infinite.

The 2024 Fiat 500e is a $34K EV that appeals to emotion, not logic

I mean, you don’t want them losing their “Fix It Again, Tony” moniker, do you?

Tesla scraps its plan for a $25,000 Model 2 EV

Wait until you try a car with a heated steering wheel. My finger bones have never known such delight.

Tesla publishes its financial results for 2023; profit margin shrinks

Thank you! Was going to post this if no one else did. It’s one of those core financial acronyms that should be correct in articles discussing financial performance. It’d be like calling RAM Random Ass Memory in a technical article.

Alaska Airlines says it found many loose bolts on its Boeing 737 Max 9s

Feels like that movie, Gung Ho, where they were pushing cars off the assembly line with missing windshields and stuff. Just crazy, and all the planes I’ve flown recently have been 737-800 and -900 models (at least they weren’t Max models!).

SharePlay. Already exists for sharing content over FaceTime.

What to expect from the Apple Vision Pro in February

Apple’s first patents for a device of this type are from 2008. MacRumors did an article about it back then and someone in r/apple resurfaced the article, and the patent image looks suspiciously similar to the AVP.

This tiny EV crossover from VinFast will go on sale in the US

Just don’t use impact wrenches on the lug nuts. Our garage found out Suzuki wheel studs were subpar the hard way. Had to make a garage rule to manually torque the lug nuts.

SpaceX sues US labor board in attempt to block case on anti-Musk open letter

Biden won the popular vote by 7 million. But, He won the electoral vote by only <30K votes in a handful of states thanks to the electoral college.

OpenAI board reportedly felt “manipulated” by CEO Altman

Ahh yes, sounds like what happened with John Cougar, I mean John Mellencamp, I mean John Cougar Mellencamp.

Job losses likely at VW as the people’s car brand becomes uncompetitive

Yeah I called a Chevy dealer during lunch a couple weeks ago to test drive a Bolt. It was sold before I got there at 4:30.

Job losses likely at VW as the people’s car brand becomes uncompetitive

I worked at a Goodyear from 87-89. You could set your clock to a 4-banger VW needing a new water pump once you hit 80K miles. Getting to the timing belt/chain level of a transverse engine is not cheap.

Hate speech group calls Musk “thin-skinned tyrant” amid X advertiser fallout

I mean, if you look at my account age and post count, it should be obvious I don’t participate much in these threads.

Hate speech group calls Musk “thin-skinned tyrant” amid X advertiser fallout

Yeah it seems like “moderation” is “hide posts downvoted to oblivion, but enjoy reading the downvoted post 30x over the next 4 pages as the regulars each take a turn dunking on the clown.” It’s frustrating, adds pages of useless posts to discussion threads, and amplifies the crappy post due to...

Hate speech group calls Musk “thin-skinned tyrant” amid X advertiser fallout

Drove thru PA last summer and every rest stop with single occupant bathrooms ripped off the gender icons and anyone can use them as long as they’re unlocked. Seemed like the easiest way to accommodate everyone and keep the shit-stirrers at bay.

OpenAI employees revolt after board names new CEO and Altman heads to Microsoft

We marveled in our magnificence as we unleashed AI. No one knows who started the war, but it was us who blackened the sky.

US agency sues Tesla as Black workers report “swastikas, threats, and nooses”

Oh man, now you’ve reminded me of when my catholic grandma bought me this as a paint by numbers craft on black velvet lol.
