Just to throw numbers at it. If we combined all of the approved vaccines phase 3 data we have exactly 0 Deaths. 0 ICU visits. 1 "serious" COVID illness which required no intervention and was a whopping 1 percentage point of Blood O2 below the cutoff otherwise it would be 0 serious COVID cases...

Just spend a minute in a school reopening discussion or even here in the comments and there is going to be a rather sizeable number of people that there will never be enough evidence that the world is safe from covid and if you dare even think of going outside you will instantly die. CDC to release guide for life after vaccination—with normalcy still far off

How is this conspiracy bullshit when it actually did happen? And yet there was panic buying of PPE equipment from all the major retailers. Also, when hospitals and other medical staff went public about their need for PPE they public went above and beyond with painters and contractors donating...

CDC releases updated “science based” school guidelines

In the states and areas schools that are still closed these guidelines won't matter if what I see on social media is any indication. Just the suggestion that we should talk about reopening schools gets you an accusation that you want to kill all the children and teachers. They claim to follow...

EA’s return to college football dodges NCAA, player-related legal issues

If this is not going to be released until July 2022 a lot of this information will likely be outdated. Like the player likeness issue where right now EA can't do anything about it but once the rule is changed they will likely quickly move to acquire these rights. Same with conferences by the...

In case anyone is worried don't be, Griffin is too important to be held accountable so Citadel will pay a 20 million fine and everything will be a-ok and fixed while in a bipartisan move there is quickly a law that allows RH to do this in the future if the memers don't learn their place.

Discord bans WallStreetBets as subreddit briefly goes private

You have an SEC that does not even give a slap on a wrist when a CEO during trading hours lies about having a buyout offer to take the company private. Nor does anything when the CEO continues to disobey his pinky-swear promise to never do something like this again. Point is the SEC at this...

Discord bans WallStreetBets as subreddit briefly goes private

This is the best post here. Just to add on a bit, how is any of this any different than when say Investment Bank GS (just random letters chosen) have a stock at a sell or hold rating then all of sudden move it up to a buy rating and coincidentally just got business to do a secondary offering...

Discord bans WallStreetBets as subreddit briefly goes private

Short sellers bring plenty of value and more than most traders. Shorts are the primary finders of fraud and other bad management at companies, the SEC other regulatory agencies, the exchanges and law enforcement are almost always behind and catching up to the shorts and the evidence they...

Tesla had the larger screens in the car first because they where willing to go with consumer quality product instead of an automotive quality product which is a big reason for the yellow ring issue that developed because of the cool heat cycle cars go though.

Nearly 1 in 4 adults in the US will be severely obese by 2030, study suggests

I am not surprised but still saddened by the amount of anti science that surrounds Obesity. We have the BMI denial where these comments are getting tons of up votes and little or no downvotes. BMI is the gold standard. It's the gold standard because basically every study that says "obesity...
