Personally I have flipped completely into AI. I start my queries inside of ChatGPT, enabling web search, requesting several sources, and go from there.
I think it’s great and important to have competition in this space, as I’ve used DDG for years. Currently, however, an LLM does a good enough job of finding me the answer to the question I need, the recipe that I want, or a place to buy a replacement bike part.
This is likely to be an opinion that goes against the grain with Ars, but it’s my own personal preference for now
