...They were amazed on how 'lean' Twitter is (was?) now running with 2/3 of its workforce gone...
I've wondered about this as well. When the layoffs were underway, many commented that Twitter would be entirely hobbled. I'm certainly not qualified to assess corporate operations, especially at this scale; but the outward face of Twitter doesn't look much different to me. No doubt some folks know more about this than I do. How it is possible that ⅔ are gone and the company is functionally nearly the same? (and please allow me some error bars here).
