First I would wonder what it does that Apple doesn't want it to do?
But, also I wonder what Defender does regardless. I honestly have never been notified it's blocked anything at all in at least 10 years. Well, except the time their own update completely freaked out the AV and crashed the computer. That was quite a mess.
