I'm so anti-spoilers I don't even own a TV.

If I'm watching a trailer and they start spoiling the movie I stop the trailer. Is ok that lots of people like to be spoiled and all but I don't see nothing wrong in putting a warning or tags just in case, and it should be the norm

I'm anti-spoiler as well, but I don't see how saying "In this game, you're a Dad of War" is much of a spoiler. We don't know what exactly he gets up to in Scandanavia (beyond scattering his wife's ashes). I hope it involves poking out Odin's other eye in the first stage, so they know who Kratos is. We'll encounter Thor in Dad of War 2.

He's not just saying "you are a dad of war"... I had to stop reading because he was telling how the child behaves in different situations, even telling/spoiling some phrases the boy says.

By showing me his point of view of the boy he's basically altering my experience of the game when I get to play it because I am now contaminated by that, I cannot unread it.

Maybe that's not a spoiler for you but it is for me; and lately Ars writers (even those who usually used spoiler tags) are forgetting about those so there's a lot of articles that I'd like to read and I just don't dare.

Disagreed. I've read plenty of scathing reviews just to find myself enjoying the thing very much. Just read it with critical thinking and with the lens of your own tastes. If you can't separate your own experience from a review then stop reading reviews. And the overall message is that the game is pretty good and worth buying, that's enough to me.

"Since I do it like this you should do it my way as well, you'll see is better"

Congratu-fkn-lations!!

A review should not include a spoiler, fullstop.
You don't need to spoil the game to tell me if you enjoyed it, if it was buggy or well finished, if the story make sense and the character grew during the game, etc..

Those are the things that interest me; leave it to me to discover if that character is a puny boy or that other a megalomaniac.

A games reviewer needs to review the game, not go in deep with the story and characters.

If you don't see why, I cannot help you there...
