IPL 2017: Yuvraj Singh impresses with 35-ball fifty against Delhi Daredevils
Yuvraj Singh stayed unbeaten on 70 to guide Sunrisers Hyderabad to a total of 185/3 against Delhi Daredevils in their IPL 2017 encounter.
Yuvraj Singh broke free from the shackle of low scores to slam his second half-century of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2017 for Sunrisers Hyderabad against Delhi Daredevils on Tuesday. (LIVE BLOG)

More than his personal achievement, the fifty also rescued SRH from a tricky situation. Yuvraj reached the mark in 35 balls, with the help of seven fours and one six. (LIVE SCORECARD)
With SRH’s top batsmen – David Warner, Shikhar Dhawan and Kane Williamson – back in the pavilion, the onus was on Yuvraj to anchor the innings. And he did it with full responsibility.
He relied on singles with Moises Henriques at the other end and hit the occasional boundary to keep SRH’s run-rate over seven.
He finally broke from the shackles after the 15th over. Though, Yuvraj was dropped by Sanju Samson in the 17th over, while he was batting on 29, it did not unnerve him.
He went after Kagiso Rabada and Chris Morris in the 18th and 19th overs respectively to bring up his 12th IPL fifty.
